Elizabeth Day

Liz has worked within the construction industry since 1988. Prior to setting up Chesterfield Water Treatment she previously had experience as a director of companies undertaking the specialised flushing and cleaning of water systems.

In creating a consultancy in water treatment Liz has strived to provide a friendly, high quality, reliable service upon which clients can rely and which will reduce the operational or contractual difficulties that they encounter.

Liz sat on the steering group for two BSRIA guides, BSRIA 8/91 'Pre-Commission Cleaning of Water Systems' and BSRIA 1/2001 'Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems'. This latter guide has recently been updated with Liz's involvement to include more detail on water quality issues when pipework is added to existing installations (BSRIA 1/2001.1). More recently Liz worked on a project investigating the impact of biofilm in pre-commission cleaning. (BSRIA website)
